Poorly secured lamp post covers that can be removed even by children
Open electrical connections only taped, which could easily be removed by children

Missing manhole covers
The City Council of Johannesburg has recently lost a High
Court case, after a runner got injured due to a missing manhole cover. Their
argument, that they are not responsible; because the manhole covers were
stolen, was dismissed by the High Court. The City Council stay responsible even
if they are stolen. They had to pay the claimant.
SEWERAGE PROBLEMS
The sewerage in our
area flowing into the streams and into
the rivers ends up in dams. It pollutes not only Mpumalanga but also Gauteng’s
dam and rivers
